Humbly report, K44B, as you may know, everything is not the way it is, it is the way you choose to perceive it.
When I was a teenager my country of birth was invaded and our immediate family of four had to leave, or suffer the consequences of staying. We were very well off - the cream of the crop in the country - and had to leave everything behind. Everything and everyone, period. Not only that, we had to go to a foreign place, where people spoke a foreign language we did not know, observed customs we did not share, lived lives we did not understand, and so on.
We all did just fine, thank you very much. None of us had to sell any body parts to make it, though our situation was, believe it or not, worse than yours.
Everything is relative, and everything is attitude. You're in charge, even though it doesn't seem like it right now.
Adversity is an invitation to change. Grab the invitation and live, man!
Best of courage to you!
Cheers,
