For what it is worth I just finished watching the Nightly Business on the PBS television station. Stan Weinstein the technician of the "Professional Tape Reader Newsleteer" was Paul's guest market monitor. From his technical outlook he does not like the "high flying technology stocks". He mentioned that he did not like Ascend and I think Cisco, but that is all that comes to mind. Of course that would not include Novell as it is a "Low-Crawling" supposed technology stock.

I think the reason Novell has had that $1 billion so long is that management is incapable of coming up with projects that will generate a ROI of 20% plus. They are content with earning 6-7% on that money. That of course means that Novell is not a growth stock in a high growth industry.

I see where Novell's stock price tested its 52 week low of $8 3/4 today. Yikes!

I have to conserve my posting of messages as I am new to the Silicon Investor and received a message that I have a limit of 5 posts per day for my first 50 postings.

Thank you to the guy that answered my question about Novell's insider activity. I think this would be a key signal at this juncture. A lack of insider buying is not good in my opinion.
