Lemon to Head TERI's Trading and Transactions
HOUSTON, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael L. Wallace, president of Trinity Energy Resources, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TRGC) (TERI), today announced the appointment of Ronald S. Lemon as vice-president of trading and transactions.
Lemon has over 15 years experience in natural gas risk management, marketing and project development including the use of natural gas futures and derivatives to create a successful risk strategy. He most recently served as corporate hedge manager, natural gas, at Texaco, Inc., where he was also a natural gas trader. Additionally, while at Texaco he was project manager for business development where he evaluated, proposed and implemented a variety of projects, including $250 million in cogeneration projects for equity buy-in and natural gas sales. He has also served as director of marketing and supply, midwest region, for MG Natural Gas, and was vice president of Acacia Gas Corp. Earlier he was vice president and marketing manager at Fina Oil and Chemical Co. Lemon lives in Spring, TX.
According to Wallace, TERI's "business plan calls for natural gas trading to begin by July 1. The overall strategy will start day trading small contract volumes before the end of June. By mid-July, there will be technical confirmation of the market direction at which time spread trading will begin. We at TERI are extremely pleased to have someone with Mr. Lemon's impressive track record and credentials on board to lead us forward in this effort."
Recently, Trinity Energy Resources, Inc., formerly known as Trinity Gas Corporation, launched a recapitalization bid in the form of a Rights Offering to qualified, existing shareholders. According to Wallace, "response to the Rights Offering has been extremely encouraging."
Earlier, TERI signed, in conjunction with a consortium of two other independent energy partners, a Convention Agreement which provides for an Exploration Permit "H" covering 108 million acres in the Republic of Chad. "We are on track to open our first international office location June 21, in Chad," Wallace said. Chairman of the Board Thomas C. O'Dell will be in Chad for start-up and to meet with Chadian officials.
