Jim,
Quick trading or scalping on a limited budget makes the brokers rich. Sometimes it's best to stick with one or two companies and hold thru some of the dips. Often they are as short lived as the spikes.
This method requires more DD, but on less companies. Look back at some of your trades and see if some wouldn't have been more profitable if you held instead of hit and out. Have a mental sell price ready and sell when it hits that. This method works better with listed stocks. The BB's rarely qualify, but some do.
