Kaire Holdings Inc. Completes $3.5 Million Investment Banking Agreement
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 3, 1999--Kaire Holdings Inc. (OTC BB:KAHI - news), a leading provider of products and laboratory services for the study of regional blood flow, Thursday announced that it has completed an agreement to retain New York-based National Investment Resources LLC as its investment banker.
The NIR group will provide Kaire with $3.5 million working capital to acquire, develop and operate a number of new ''business to business'' and ''business to consumer'' e-commerce Internet Web sites and also for marketing and advertising of its Internet Web site Vitaplanet.com. The completion of this agreement provides Kaire with the necessary funding to pursue its aggressive 18-month development and release schedule.
Vitaplanet.com (www.vitaplanet.com) is the newest online source for health, beauty and wellness products on the World Wide Web. Kaire will kick off Vitaplanet.com marketing with a series of ''live'' talk radio commercials beginning in July. Talk radio is an ideal format to reach Vitaplanet's target consumer group.
Typically, talk radio listeners are upscale, mobile, sophisticated, professional men and woman in the 35-55 age range. Additionally Kaire will utilize selected trade publications as well as targeted cable television commercials. Print and cable television advertising is scheduled to begin in September, coinciding with the opening of Vitaplanet's online drug store.
