I am a day-trader, I am only looking for the short term profit. I am neither long or short. In the short term their could be further upside in trading this stock but I would never hold it for the long term. That said. The Management of this company is trying to leverage the current trends in the dot coms, (a good idea) but this is hype. The CEO (I think) has a investment banking background in the resource industry - he knows what the market wants to see - a dotcom. In the longer term I do not see them exploiting e-commerce. With there current strategy their revenues are limited. They have a portal or a directory that links to a service. The services will gain from the e-commerce. In this situation SKG revenues are likely limited to advertising and referrals. This is a very competitive market (Yahoo, ISP like netcom, Rogers, AOL etc.) They have nothing to keep me coming back to their site. (If I shop at one of their links, I will bookmark the store and go directly). The longer term strategy of the company is based on mining not e-commerce. The current market evaluation is based on e-commerce not mining. I would never hold this stock for any extended period of time.
