Actually, Robert, think PCLN's fully expects continuing patent litigation.

Unlike most companies who incidentally acquire a patent or two, Walker Digital, who develops the patents and licenses them, as needed, to PCLN, is a patent factory. It's all they do. Think about applying for 250 patents almost simultaneously. That's huge! I believe 20 Walker patents pending relate to PCLN and 2 more have already been granted. The Budget issue seems to concern one of them.

So it's inconceivable that PCLN (who will be funding some portion, or all, of any litigation) hasn't already built in the expectation of significant litigation. It's probable that PCLN also intends to handle the licensing of PCLN-related patents to third parties, so this can be a profit center as well.
