Interesting Post from Yahoo: by: LMcKenna 35765 of 35766 similar to other databases!!!! Mr Bill, ONLY Oracle and Interbase have a multiversioning architecture. Whereby, any/all users can access/edit the SAME record at the SAME time, and modify it. If the modifications do not conflict (I will not go into the specific rules), then BOTH changes are accepted into the database!!! No other RDBMS can do this!!!! NONE!!!! These are the ONLY 2 REAL MULTI/CONCURRENT-USER DBs on the market. Please, please, do not try to talk technical when you do not KNOW the underlying technology. ORCL Rules!!!! Shorts shall die!!!
