jmac, i'm heavily margined, and i added to my position at 160, 150, and 146, so i am quite familiar with that sort of pain. all i can say is that i'm holding a piece of paper from s&p that tells me this is a $207 stock, and i'm not going to be dumb and sell it for any less than that. the last time i tried to time intel, i got out of my entire position at 118, only to buy back at around 132. you can consider trying to time it once it gets back into the 160s -- but now is not the time. keep feeding the margin man (if applicable), grit yer teeth, and don't get suckered into letting someone have your intc for much less than it's worth. if you have some cash stashed away, i'd suggest a little shopping spree next friday afternoon (options expiration). you may just see me there.
this is turning into the intc stockholders' support group, no? |
