Progress report. Am trying to check out webvan.com. Like the cleanliness of their homepage (like amzn's, as you note). When I click to see if they serve my address, the response is immediate (yes, they do). So apparently their delivery address server has plenty of capacity. Then when I try to register as a customer, it hangs (not good...). Then when I try to check out the chef-prepared pasta meals, it hangs (still not good). Perhaps it's the flood of amzn posters checking out Michelle's rec? <g>. I will keep trying.
