Tom, I just got a new desktop PC from DELL.

After I got the new PC, for a couple of days I had a problem connecting with my ISP (Prodigy).

It turned out the problem was with Prodigy, and not the COMS V90 winmodem.

Don't know if this helps any.

Regards,

Larry

PS--Prodigy told me the problem was with my modem. But I didn't change anything on my modem, and the problem went away. And even tho Prodigy told me it was my problem with the modem, another tech at Prodigy said that Prodigy has been having problems for a long time (on and off for months) with their servers in certain areas (upgrading them/whatever).
