Konrad, There is no upgrade market for the K6. At the very least it requires additional BIOS changes (AMD's chipsets imply a different motherboard), which can be a nightmare given the different versions of chipsets and MB's in exisisting systems. I don't know where this came about but if AMD is targeting the "upgrade market" exclusively, they are really fools. regards Anthony
