Haim: I don't believe that the stock market has been very concerned about Kosovo, other than perhaps viewing it as a positive for defense stocks. When IBM can tack-on $25 billion in market cap in one session, traders are hardly worried about how many dollars will be shipped to the Balkans. I'm no currency expert, but the idea of the Euro never made any sense to me, and the markets are reflecting lack of confidence that structural changes will be implemented, and that the economy will remain sluggish.
