Re: Christian
James...Unfortunately there are far too many people who claim to be Christians for various reasons of their own, some unscrupulous, and I deplore this. I can not tell a true Christian at first meeting and do not automatically believe anyone who makes a big issue of being one. Ususally, after a length of time in discussion, it becomes apparent what their true feelings are.
Anyone who wants to say that I am not a Christian may do so. Human opinions of my spiritual Faith is not important. In this regard, the only judgement that means anything to me is that of God and Jesus Christ (not even the Pope). It is obvious you are a Catholic and if that is what you choose to be, more power to you. I do not disagree with all Catholics. I have known and loved many Catholics and IMPO the members of this religion, the parish Priests and Nuns are primarily dedicated and good people. I just feel that, from Bishop on up, it becomes more of a political organization of the monarchy kind.
