Joey Cyrix' latest technology, the M2, has been delayed several months and, when it is finally released, will have a top speed of 166 Mhz. How fast do you think the 133 Mhz MediaGX is that Compaq uses strictly for a low-end, low-end computer? Joey, it runs fully half the speed of a lowly 133 Mhz notebook, notebooks are real slow Joey. As far as I am concerned they should change the name of the jingle from Intel Inside to Benchmarks On Side! and slap the benchmarks for today's media intensive applications on the side of every box that goes out the door. Cyrix isn't a small fish, it isn't even a small fish parasite and they don't have a snowball's chance in hell of beating AMD who, in turn, is just yesterday's technology vendor. Intel is the pilot, AMD is the pilot fish.
