The Cancall Tokyo office was officially launched February 27, 1997, with a formal agreement signing and reception at the new Tokyo office. Cancall Vice President Dennis Sullivan and Hawaii manager Lionel Lun represented Cancall at the signing. TMP President Masuo Fukuchi represented TMP. TMP, with offices in Tokyo and Honolulu, represents foreign companies to client bases in Japan. TMP's clients are responsible for over 1,200,000 Japanese visitors to the United States annually. Under the terms of the revenue sharing agreement, TMP has staffed and will maintain Cancall's Tokyo office, represent Cancall in Japan to Japanese tour companies and develop Cancall's client base at the corporate level in Japan as part of Cancall's pre-marketing strategy. Also under the terms of the agreement, TMP has contracted to generate a minimum gross revenue from Cancall rental phones of $150,000 US per month after a three month ramp up period. TMP is pre-marketing rentals to Japanese tourists for the locations in Honolulu, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Washington DC. With our new Tokyo office, we will meet the demand of our clients to have a Japan-based customer service center and we will now have contact with Japanese travelers before they leave for the United States,'' said Gregory J.
