Larry, you might be right. Why would Samsung even consider using Hanil's or Valence's batteries? Why would South Koreans buy from other South Koreans? Especially after other South Koreans have built a large battery plant and are starting it up? We know the Japanese are like that too. They go out of their way to import TV's, cars, radios, cameras, agricultural products etc from other countries whenever they can!

Do you suppose there is a possibility that Valence's factory in Northern Ireland is working multiple shifts to build inventory to help Hanil deliver to one of their large customers, just in case Samsung decides to take delivery of solid polymer batteries for their new models coming out this fall? It's so confusing. Valence and Hanil are are in production yet there are those who insist they have no batteries for sale. It sure is puzzling!
