Manny, Vioxx has only been available for several days.It is too soon to tell. Samples are just starting to come to the physician offices. Celebrex has been disappointing for most of us who prescribe it and has been associated with some severe GI bleeds at our hospital. It has been beneficial for some but the side effect profile is still troubling. Vioxx has a much more favorable profile and I am looking forward to getting patient feedback. The hospital where I work is one of the largest prescribers of this type of medication in the country. In support of PFE, they still have a great drug pipeline and the most aggressive drug reps in the industry. I find the ones that visit my office very pushy but this evidently works for them. I'll keep you informed... HeatherN
