There's no way of knowing how strong these patents are. Samuels indicated that they're not going to go out of their way to defend them, but rather will seek to establish partnerships around their patents. Until there's a court battle, we'll never know what these patents are worth.

My feeling is that if you can clone a Pentium II chip, you can clone just about anything.
