Actually, the more I think about it, the better AMD stock itself is looking to me. The average selling price of AMD CPU's will surely rise from the $70-something it's at right now with the K7, and AMD will compete with Intel across a broader front and in more lucrative markets than in the past. It all hinges on their ability to deliver and how Compaq and others are going to market it vs. their other lines.
