You've been listening to too much WS propoganda. Margins will be fine for at least 1997. Longer term, AG has already said that he expects Intel to return to their traditional obscene 50% level. BTW, this wasn't attributed to reduced chip ASP's due to competition, but rather to Intel entering into new lower margin businesses necessary to grow the overall business. As for market share, I'll believe it when I see it. Every year we hear about how Cyrx and AMD are going to gain share. Every year we are told that this year is different. If AMD and Cyrix grow it will be because the overall pie is growing. As for psychiatric advice, I think you need to relax bigtime. If Intel drops more, buy more. Start thinking in terms of years instead of days. Intel remains the heart and soul of the entire golobal technology revolution. Think about the significance of Intel. This isn't going to change anytime soon. I have held Intel for almost 4 years. These types of pull backs are for suckers to sell, for weak hands to fold, and for longs to average up (or down for newbies). Those with even just a little vision can rest assured that this too will pass. Be happy, don't worry. You ain't seen nothing yet. Andy and co. are just warming up. Regards, FF
