InputAccel is targeted to the document imaging market, which consists mainly of corporate end-users who want to scan their paper forms and documents in order to capture the information written on them.

Although these paper documents may contain photos, the main purpose of scanning them is to either OCR or key-enter the text data and then store the image in some form of workflow or image storage & retrieval system.

I should add that InputAccel is a software "backbone" which accepts modular products from other companies for such tasks as image enhancement, forms processing, OCR, and manual reject-repair. As such it has the potential of becoming a strong standard in a huge industry lacking such standards. That is in my opinion CRNR's greatest potential strength.
