Bro. Emile, for some reason I feel that I should write to you. Maybe the need is within me and the response will give me a bit of encouragement. But I have no idea what to say, maybe the following. "Rom 1:12 that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith." The sharing of a common faith is a great thing God has provided for His people. These are evil days and many seem to have lost their way. Is it not encouraging to know that there are some who still call Jesus Lord in truth. So many false, so-called-christian paths lay before the populace of the world. Each one calling "I am the right way, walk on my path."
People wear the cross around their neck and live like children of satan. No clear deliniation of right and wrong appears in their living. Jesus is not happy with this. We each in his/her own way must continue, as you have said, to reach out; to sound the trumpet, "Ezek 33:6 'But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman's hand." No matter our own personal problems and discouragements, we must move on thru the power of Christ. Many are deceived, thinking they have chosen the right path and will not listen to the Word that lights the true path. Isn't it amazing that a person can walk in darkness and believe they are in the light. What type of deceit is this? "2 Cor 11:14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light."
What is your sermon topic for this Sunday?
God always blesses. He never lets us down, even when we feel like we are ready to quit.
Truly I say, may the love of God and the grace of God and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit vist you at this time.
Please forgive this rambling writing. Concentration on a logic flow is becoming more difficult since I passed 66 yrs. My wife says I have early altheimers.
