Definition of Terms:

Early Strongs --- Stocks which are showing accumulation/price appreciation after a period of basing. Usually the longer the basing period, the more the significant is the meaning of the breakout. If there are any stocks being pumped and dumped, here is were they occur. Beware of stocks that are sub .05 and show a dramatic volume spike after a period of little or no trading. It has been my experience that many of these stocks are being "nudged" by short term traders and not pending news.

Mature Strongs --- Stocks that have made a significant price move and might be ready for a pullback. It does not mean that a pullback will occur. It has been my experience not to buy these type of stocks for at least one hour after the market opens. Beware, these stocks may hit new highs early, then fade and actually close lower than they did the day before (Japanese Candlestick pattern called a "shooting star").

Bouncing off a Pullback/Consolidation --- Stocks that made a run-up and have either pullbacked or consolidated sideways, either way, these are stocks which have "proven" themselves to be more than just a quick pump and dump. But again, beware, daytraders love these things! Stocks which usually achieve their "consolidation" sideways rather than via pullbacks tend to be stronger stocks.
