BGR -- Right, the market shapes the curve -- but AG's moves on short rates and liquidity shape the perception of the market. If AG is slow to pull the trigger then the market will anticipate the consequences by pricing in higher long rates because of his inaction now. That is why AG's actions or inaction have so much influence on the shape of the curve. He controls the short end and the market controls the long end. It is a dance.
