Sergio,
I don't think you quite understand what sitting on the "high bid" really means. ALLN, or a possible surrogate, have been trading places on the high bid for 6 trading day. What this means in laymen terms is that when you sell *your* shares, a mmkr has to buy them. ALLN is first in line with the highest price on the bid, which is the price you will get for your shares. ie... ALLN wants these shares for his account, for whatever reason, and is willing to push aside the other mmkrs to accomplish it, (or hire them to assist in accumulation).
If ALLN was selling, I would like to know for who. I don't think I remember Warren Buffet being a shareholder in GRNO, it might be Barry Diller, or George Soros.. or Wayne Heuzinga. I'm sure that they all had shares in GRNO from its days as a private entity, and are surely unloading at this level... Smart men... you should follow them.... :0) You're probably correct and I should have know that all of these smart money investors were involved in GRNO long ago. (ok, I've had enough fun at your expense.... Sorry..)
Sergio, when you sell, mmkrs are buying, usually hoping to turn around and sell them to someone else at a higher price thus pocketing the difference (spread) for their accounts. If ALLN is involved solely for the purpose of selling a huge block of shares, I'll shave my skull (and my eyebrows) and tattoo "Sergio was right!!" on my forehead.... <vbg>
However, I want to stop discussing this topic. We will now see how everything unfolds over the next several weeks to months.
All I can say is that I have learned one hell of a lot about the market over the past week. (Thanks, Mark Seyer!!!) It's been very educational.
