GST,

I have no position in AMZN (though I buy a lot of books there on a regular basis). The world economy is not anywhere close to catching fire by my estimation. Europe has 70% capacity utilization and even the weakness of the Euro is not helping exports much. Japan is desparately trying to reflate. If rates go up in the US, we may very well see a sub-par Euro (the ECB has maintained that it is not going to intervene). And Japan's liquidity injection will perhaps immediately leave for safe haven in US treasuries. Not a pretty picture in any way.
