GST,

True, the world economy is stabilizing. And it is also true that monetary growth was extraordinarily strong during late 98-early 99. But monetary growth (M3) has been slowing for a while already. And while the international financial crisis indeed seems to be over, the patient is still recovering.

However, you may be right and rates may well go up to the level of 12 months back. But why is this so worrisome for the growth stocks (internets) given their performances last year? Now individual company fundamentals are a different issue.
