You know for a forum supposedly intended for investment discussion, it's surprising how little these strategies are discussed. As far as I can tell, Paul is the only other investor here who regularly writes puts. It is may main strategy for income generation. I write puts on a regular basis and have been doing so for a couple of years now. It is as close to free money as I have found. Why buy a stock when you can write a put and maybe buy it cheaper, or else walk away with free money? You might want to think about it.
