Elmer, Re: Why buy a stock when you can write a put and maybe buy it cheaper, or else walk away with free money? You might want to think about it. Unfortunately, my account does not allow me to write put. BTW, what kind of of free money one can get ? I believe each contract needs to be secured by 100 share worth of free cash of the underlying stock so it sounds to be a pretty small amount(well I know nothing about this game). BTW, is LEAP also corresponding to 100 share of the underlying stock per contract ? I want to buy some LEAPs but is confused about the size. Gary
