- nice article - sometimes we forget why we like MSFT in the first place - companies such as Dell will eventually go the same way as all other commodities. Just a little longer, because people are still enchanted by pc's & don't realize they're buying a differentiated commodity. - look at all the tv, radio, vcr, etc... manufacturers... You'll see that in every case, the profit margins dried up. - Which is why I continue to hold on to MSFT. Even though I see some turbulent times ahead; and some more price declines as the Bill Gate's & foundatins unload. Plus, the Clintonistas who play see no evil, hear no evil with our Nation's most sensitive military secrets; yet can't pounce on Microsoft hard enough. I see MSFT weathering the storm & prospering.
