Sonki,
-SLIGHTLY OFF TOPIC-
I have never bought LEAPS, although I have, occasionally, dabbled in calls (up to six months far out in time) and bought Intel warrants which, at this moment, could almost be thought as Intel 98leap. My reservation re. LEAP has been: you tie up some of the funds and the best companies (or most promising) should be your LEAP candidates, otherwise your net gains would be canceled out over the period--just like gold.
My thoughts on your LEAPS: (please read this at your own risk)
INTC MSFT and CSCO are fine, especially the first two, as 9 months is enough time to capitalize on the market peaks/valleys. You may need to be a bit more careful with Cisco 98 as visibility of its eps growth may not become very transparent for 1-2 quarters.
As to ORCL, I used to have a long position but unloaded it 2 years ago. Unlike Intel, this is a very "flashy" company, and I always had to discount what the senior management had to say. Yesterday and today, the stock price rose because of positive surprive, but I heard (from people who know) that Oracle is behind in one of the hottest areas:data warehousing. Not to mention that Microsoft is foreever on their case. I would not assume the long-term success of this company automatically.
