Thanks Larry, as you may have guessed I've been quite busy on that "other thread" as we have some really substantial buying coming in, not so much the shorts starting to cover as we first thought. Boy, we sure are amassing all the conditions for a short squeeze in RACE next week with just a slight misstep - if you like to see fun keep an eye on it from time to time. Don't fall over if you see it over $100, that's what could possibly happen.

Tonight the x2 modem had trouble connecting and staying connected for the first hour, since then the thing has worked flawlessly at 48K for 5 hours straight now and the temperature has been doing almost the exact thing it was last night. I suppose it's either a fluke or it's fixed. I know that they have to be playing around with things at the ISP, and I also know that someday they may be able to raise the levels and allow the 56K instead of 53K as the max. If they do get to do this and the "level" they are referring to is dB into the line, they may be less susceptible to the noise problems as the S/N would be better. Any idea what "level" they are talking about? Think they're worried about harmonic interference with the regular traffic on the trunks?
