This peace could have been reached weeks before now, when it became obvious that mostly civilians were going to pay the price of this war.

Prolonging the bombing has only resulted in increasing the Kosovar's suffering, victimizing the Serb population, and bringing NATO's image in the gutter.

The clean up will be a challenge.
