Herman and Andrew,
I took a quick look at the INTEL Intercast home page, which is located at:
intercast.com
I found the following introductory information. That and what follows it on the site seem to indicate that Intercast software probably should have been distributed by HAUP with the board. Maybe it's hidden in some other obscure directory on the HAUP distribution disk.

The Intel® Intercast® Viewer is an innovative software application for viewing enriched, interactive TV on your PC. The Intercast Viewer software, when combined with a TV tuner card in your PC and your current cable or TV antenna, allows you to get exciting, informative and interactive content along with your traditional TV programs. Here's how to get everything you need to make Intercast technology work on your PC.

Intercast content is available from many major broadcasters. Information related to the show you're watching — such as stock quotes, up-to-the-minute news, sports statistics or home remodeling plans — are just a few examples of the enriched content you can receive with your favorite programs. Check out the Intercast programming that's on tonight.
How does this all happen?
Broadcast programmers develop the interactive content and put it into the TV signal using Intel Intercast technology.
If you're into the nuts and bolts of it, information about how it works is available. And, if you have further questions about the Intercast Viewer software, you may find our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) helpful. You can also stay up-to-date with Intercast technology by visiting the latest news area.

The Intercast web-site gives information on what's on the service and also has a software upgrade available for the viewer.
Happy hunting.
Steve
P.S. From both Herman's and Andrew's comments, it looks like HAUP hasn't done a great job of letting its purchasers know what they can do with their boards. |
