Good points. It isn't so much the absolute rates that makes so much difference but how much it leverages the attitudes toward investment. Some thinking is that by the end of summer as the market continues to move down or toward the shelter of safe investments, that the market psychology will have been damaged to the point that the Y2K thing is taken very seriously causing the downturn to continue longer. I have pretty much thought that the market would go through a blow-off of the fluff of hyper valuations and then move up or at least stabilize toward the end of summer. I plan to just wait and see and form opinions latter as the year progresses. Thanks for the viewpoint.
