Hi, Jules, Good to see you again.

I agree. Intel's action is not only justified but also
predictable. It is still more evidence that this co and
its (excellent) management are not willing to overlook
anything just because of their dominant position. I
suspect that this is how they became dominant anyway.
My suspicion is that much of the criticism of the
suit right now is from people who can't view Intel as
anything but a 'big mean company that owns the market
anyway, so why can't they lay off the little guy.'
While this may be attractive to some people, I think,
as you say, that we should not forget that Intel is
using the legal system for exactly what it is intended
for in this case -- to prevent any entity, big or small,
from obtaining unfair profit based on the work or
ideas of others.
