estimates of time frames can be achieved by using trendlines extended into the future. if a stock is to remain in an acceleration, whether downtrend or uptrend, the trendline would be the guide to timeframe for a target. most technical analysis packages allow the trendlines to be extended into the future by adding space to the chart. so in awre case a long term line across the tops 4-13 and 5-20 would be one extension, by running that line down to 25 you would determine an estimated date...another more accelerated trendline would be to connect 5-20 to 6-1 in the same manner.
the 56pt ta thread is an excellent technical analysis thread, anyone that is interested in technical analysis would learn alot by following several very knowledgable posters there.
