I don't have any problem with the gurus--
that a few of them are certainly skimming
some money by moving thinly traded stocks
from time to time is fine by me. I wish
I were a guru, I'd take the money and run.

But none of that matters--if you're like
me, you buy some stocks, you chat about
them for fun, but nothing often comes of
it. You and I are not going to get rich off
the market--unless we are incredibly lucky,
it's a fools game, buying and selling paper,
crazy.

The smartest fellas were the guys who did
internut IPO's these last six months, and
have been cashing out--now that was the way
to do it. If I had a MBA, I might have spent
my savings and bought myself some good advice,
figured out how to do an internut IPO--I had the
beginnings of an idea, but realized I do not have
the skills to work it up, certainly not the skills
to sell it to somebody.

Gee, looks like I'm on yet another of my late night
rants, and it is not going anywhere. Well, good
luck with your thread 'lakers17', I cant really
answer your question--I use the gurus from time
to time to filter ideas, but have ended up with
a basket of stocks that are not on anybody's list:
That could be a good thing, and I'll be sure to
come back if I am lucky, and somebody annoits me
a guru.
