Clearly Aware has some good IP and very respectable leadership, but there is LOTS more good IP coming into this field. IMO, by 2000, AWRE's take (for modem's that choose to license their technology know-how) will VERY likely be in the sub .50 range and almost certainly be in the sub $1 range. But I don't think ADSL (ANY flavor) will be ABLE to be brought to market even as quickly as the conservative Dataquest report suggests. IMO, optimistically by YE 2000, AWRE will have their IP in 1MM modems. And I doubt AWRE will ever sell their G.Lite tech into even 5MM modems. BTW (as I've previously clarified for some here) I don't rely on URLs for my DD, so take it for whatever you think it's worth.
