I recently got back from a much needed vacation and discovered this...
Over on the Yahoo Finance NETP thread an investor took action and emailed the CEO. I still hold ALL of my Net Perceptions shares and didn't get into this stock for a quick flip. IMHO, NETP still has great fundamentals and just needs a healthier internet market and some more PR / visibility / Deals. I'll be patient. Check this out...

I recently emailed him regarding the lack of public awareness and he promptly mailed back. The following documents the whole conversation:
>>Mr. Braeuer,
Thank you for your email, and your comments relative to our publicity.
As you know, the company was in a quiet period for approximately 5 months, prior and subsequent to our IPO. The quiet period limited the amount of press activity due to SEC regulations. Having said that, we are now engaged in several PR and IR initiatives which should increase our visibility in the coming months.
As far as volume, you could interpret this as a positive given current market conditions e.g. our our shareholder base is generally not selling the stock.
If have additional questions, please contact Tom Donnelly, our Chief Financial Officer.
Thanks
steven

mr. snyder:
i am a shareholder of your company and thus a little worried about the little publicity the company has. i note that only a 110,000 shares have been traded today, the daily average is just around 180,000 shares.
the only thing the stock really needs is more attention within the investment community. it almost seems that netp is relatively unknown to most of that kind of people. there must be something you can do. >> |
