(Nasdaq: WSTL - news) announced today they will be highlighting several of its leading DSL and CLEC products at SuperComm '99 (Booth # 2549). In addition, Westell CEO Marc Zionts will be a featured speaker on several panels and will address the DSL industry, Westell's strategy, and insights into Westell's service subsidiary, Conference Plus, Inc., a leading provider of audio, video and IP multicasting services.
Product Highlights:
1) The Communications Portal(TM), Westell's newest VoIP product, will offer businesses the ability to obtain any combination of voice, fax and high-speed data services consolidated over one copper loop. Incumbent local service providers, long distance carriers and competitive service providers will be able to easily integrate the Communication Portal(TM) into their current network, enabling them to change their current economic model.
2) Westell's new line of DS3-MegaJack products will be on display at SuperComm '99. These innovative DS3 applications ensure reliability, improve maintainability and reduce system costs for CLECs, ILECs, wireless carriers and enterprise applications by allowing remote and on-site testing of DS-3 circuits.
3) Westell will exhibit its completely integrated ADSL solution for Lucent SLC® series digital loop carriers. Westell will also exhibit Lucent's SLC LinkReach(TM) Access System in Westell's booth (#2549) on a SLC 5 Carrier System and Lucent will demonstrate it in its booth (#8039) on a SLC 2000 Access System. Both provide the marketplace with an immediate ADSL solution that lets customers deploy with the minimum level of installation, support and maintenance costs.
4) Westell will exhibit several key products that allow customers to Use All the Local Loop(TM), including:
-- PROACT(TM): the revolutionary T1 automatic protection switch that continuously monitors the performance of your customer's T1 loops, and automatically switches to a standby circuit before customers report trouble.
