Paul, I'm not too concerned about this. Remember, there's already a lot of "wait" built in. By our measure, about 79% of business computers are 486s or older, including about 24% that are 386s.

The indications are that the corp IT managers have, for the most part, made their upgrade plans and for many of them that's NT and Pentium/Pentium Pro [Pentium and Pentium Pro are registered trademarks of Intel corp].

Klamath, Deschutes, Merced [there's a few more who's names have yet to leak] will have their time. The focus right now is on ramping Pentium Pro. Processors with MMX(tm) technology will be the focus later this year and into '97. Stay tuned for the rest.
