I agree it is excellent news that CB is finally gone. Even better news is his replacement, the founder of Yago, which by all accounts is the most forward-looking part of CS. The market will like that, regardless of whether or not Patel actually has the qualities to run a company the size of CS.

What hasn't changed is CS's ownership position, which, at the time of last year's meeting, he stated was sufficient to allow him to block any deal he didn't like.
