Dotty, I too am faced with the task of switching to the Windows platform for trading - I will stay with my Mac G3 for doing research - SI - chat room, etc, but all level II etc. seems to be only Windows based. We have several dealers here in NJ who put together 450 Mhz packages based in Pentium II for under a grand with a 17" monitor, printer, modem, etc- since i'm only putting the package together for trading, can't see any reason not to go with a name brand like IBM or HP at that kind of price - Any input from any windows people would be greatly appreciated
