Dave,

Your points are well taken. But only within the context of believing those people you mentioned that have also made bad decisions were people with some history of success and one other main ingredient... integrity.

Any one who performs so badly as RG and so consistently, and then rewards himself to the degree that he does all the while causing such massive loss of equity for the shareholders has no integrity, imho.

Without integrity, even men of talent will be a poor risk. But when you combine lack of talent with lack of integrity it's no longer a poor risk, it's a lousy gamble imho.

In addition I fully agree with your last paragraph. However, like many times before, I think you will find straight answers to direct and hard questions virtually non-existent. See what happened to Dr. Frankel and he was there. He had them in writing and they were still sidestepped. RG is going to sell his way through these questions and answer exchanges. Lucky for him the z-man helped drain the time last evening. Then again why was the whole affair limited to such a short period of time and especially under such trying circumstances? Well orchestrated and probably under the guidance of his lawyer. Not a sign of integrity.
