OPEC is between a rock and hard place. It wants high oil price but does not want non-opec producers' growth. The paradox is that OPEC has to cut their market share to boost oil price which is against their interest in increasing market share and limit growth of non-OPEC producers. It is a tough call. If this is the core of the dynamic, how can one evaluate the here and now climate and benefit in "trading" the patch??? Let us think about this seriously.
