Steve Harmon's comments on WAVX/Microsoft

Mr. Harmon is a respected stock commentator, who enjoys a wide audience among investors. He recently put out the following posting:

wave seems to have some innovation with its approach. however, i prefer 100% software solutions and think
microsoft may get into this space through the operating system

which is interpreted by many new investors to be negative towards WAVX. This might be helping with the recent relative weakness of WAVX.

In the long run, I think that while Mr. Harmon might be a very intelligent analyst and investor, he clearly doesn't know jack about e-commerece. His opinion isn't so much wrong as it is irrelevant. A software ONLY solution is not a viable solution to the problems of e-commerece security. Microsoft can only be seen as a possible complementary solution (implemented on top of Embassy hardware) and not as a competing solution. Microsoft would be the first to agree with my prior statement.
