Not really Rob..if the old high is taken out on great volume..and then confirmed that's a clear winning buy..remember I like long term options and leaps rather than underlying stock..and I'd be the first to admit that I blew it here..getting in is a piece of cake, selling can be a bit**...I agree with you, otherwise..if infinity is your time horizon for the company..then go long the stock whenever you want...
