If I recall correctly, Acampora predicted that
interest rates will be around 6% during the summer
and back down to the lower 5% range at the end
of the year.

Does anyone have an idea as to how he was able to
arrive at such a prediction? I suspect that he
did some analysis on the government refunding needs
and found that most of the refunding is done during
the summer. Is there a site that lists out the
government refunding schedule?

Interest rates are known to go up in February as
more people obtain home loans.
